You are warmly invited to participate in the 10th international conference ‘Interfaces Against Pollution’ (IAP) offering an international and interdisciplinary working environment to review and discuss recent progress and future challenges in understanding and control of (bio)interfacial and (bio)colloidal phenomena operative in complex environmental processes and media as well as in environmental remediation technologies.
The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to 20 March 2018.

Abstracts can be submitted in the following topics:

  •  Mechanistic studies on the role played by interfaces and colloids in pollution control, dynamics of pollutants, pollutant availability and toxicity
  • Fundamental research on equilibrium and non-equilibrium interfacial and colloidal phenomena and processes. Modelling across length scales: from atomistic simulations to global site models
  • Design and performance of innovative and environmentally-friendly engineered or bioinspired materials and systems, green processes for soil remediation and wastewater treatment
  • Improvement/development of methodological, analytical and/or instrumental techniques for analysis of interfaces
  • Perspectives in energy conversion/storage and environmental remediation

Accommodation: Registration fees do not include accommodation.

La Grande Motte is a favourite destination for travelers also in early June and the hotels have a limited number of rooms available. The Organizing Committee advises the conference attendees to book a room as soon as possible. The special hotel rates are valid only until 1 April 2018.
