SINGAPORE

Memorandum of Understanding with the PUB of Singapore.

The competitiveness water cluster Pôle EAU and the association of water sector companies SWELIA have signed September 23, 2014 a Memorandum of Understanding with the Singapore Water Authority (PUB) and the association of water sector companies of Singapore (SWA) at the Embassy of France in Portugal.

This agreement shows the commitment of water specialists to get closer through collaborations, scientific, technological and economic actions within the framework of the Regional Strategy for Smart Specialisation (3S) of Languedoc-Roussillon region.

The signing ceremony was attended by HE Mr. Jean-François Blarel, Ambassador of France in Portugal, HE Dr. António Tomás Correia, Honorary Consul of Singapore in Lisbon and Mr Dean Amhaus, President and CEO of The Water Council Milwaukee.

The city-state of Singapore is a destination with high potential for exporting our skills and expertise. Recycling and wastewater reuse are a priority issue for Singapore and are one of the first actions that will be taken under this collaboration.
